I know some fruits are not good, for example, bananas and durians, but what fruits are actually good for weight-control? Will guavas do?

    all fruits are okay! even durians. but of course, when you’re hungry and on a diet, you don’t go around eating durians, right?

    so anyhow, the trick here is to eat cut fruits first when you are hungry.

    after a few hours, consume carbos!

    by eating fruits first, you are letting the “simple foods” aka fruits to digest (they digest much quicker than other foods) so, when eating rice/pasta/bread later, you are still full.

    I am in a weight loss treatment with a nutritionist and I’m allowed to eat all kinds of fruit. What you have to keep in mind is the quantity that you are allowed to eat. Here are some examples of fruits and the quanties you can eat:
    8 purple grapes
    12 green grapes
    1 small banana or mango
    1 medium sized orange, guava, pear or apple
    8 ounces (1 cup) of watermelon, papaya
    1 slice of pineapple
