One Response to “What are the dependent and independent variables?”

  1. ? writes:

An independent variable is the one(s) which the experimenter controls. The experimenter controls whether subjects are assigned to Jenny Craig or Nutri Systems. The dependent variable is the amount of weight the subjects lost.
