Question by hardxcoregamer: What are fun ways to exercise and good tips for losing weight?
I weigh 174 and I’m on the Jenny Craig diet. (I used to weigh 181 when I started Late August.) I know I’m not losing as much as I could because I cheat “just a little” and I didn’t like to exercise. Nothing really inspired me THAT much to lose weight until a problem I got involved with not too long ago. I’ve been running around Wal-Mart, going on tracks, etc but I know I’ll eventually get bored with it. I’ve considered DDR and I’m going to save up for that.. but until then, I need fun ways to exercise. I would also like tips on eating. I tend to cheat a little.. so if I do have the urge to cheat, what should I eat?

    It is okay to cheat a little bit. People who try to be strict usually go nuts when they think about, see or smell their favorite foods and often end up binging. When you cheat, eat what you are craving, but in small portions.

    You sound like me 😉 Some snacks that are healthy – almonds, dried or fresh fruit, baby carrots, dark chocolate (a little), and yogurt. I try to keep foods like that on hand for when I need a snack. Finding someone to exercise with helps me a lot. I like walking/jogging, Pilates, tennis, bike-riding, roller skating….whatever it is it’s always more fun with a buddy.

    you can try to exclude, or take as minimal as possible on carbo and fats food in your diet, e.g flour, rice, potatoes, and all the oily and fatty food, etc.

    Try to take up courses for exercising, like steps aerobics, cardio, etc. Its more fun doing in a group with an instructor, thus more motivation 🙂 I know there are cheap courses in the Singapore sports complex, you can go and take a look 🙂
