Question by coconut ice*: weight loss – please?
I’ve been cutting down on my food a lot for the past 2 weeks – little sugars, no carbs, dairy, cereals, etc..

situation – i need to loose 3-5kg in ONE week

heard about the cabbage soup – leads to too much gas from what i hear
grapefruit diet – not interested
tuna/fish diet – too much mercury
lemon cleansing diet – if someone knows the recipe. please tell me
low GI diet – heard it seems to work, but don’t understand and dn’t have much time
abs diet – to order the book days at least 2 weeks international shipping
starving ureself/close ure mouth – tried, tested, failed – doesn’t help speed the loosing weight process cos ure body stores everything u eat then as fat straight away

emailed quite a few Yahoo! users – ususally the above diets, or these pills you can order – thanks seriously for all the advice – much appreciated – but time’s running out

Sounds like your doing ok….just need to be patient. I did weightwatchers and lost loads, 8lb in week one but 2-3lb on average for weeks after this. Its better for you to loose less weight regularly than lots all at once…..Good Luck!!!

    I am a personal trainer, I would have to see a picture of you, know your body fat, and know how much you weigh to know exactly what you should be taking in.

    Some of my co-workers has been in this diet method. You eat oat-meal with no cream or suger as breakfast, eat vegeis or fruite, nats every 2 to 3 hours. If you choose to eat vegeis, you can only use one spoonful of dressing. You eat whatever you want to eat at night, but, you can’t eat anything after 8pm. You have to stay away from carbs of course… Some people choose not to use any seasonings other than masterd. It sounds extream?

    2 hours of exercise might be too much! By exercising that much you’re body starts breaking down muscle for fuel instead of your fat. Make sure you’re lifting weight too!

    Eat small frequent meals, focus on the foods and really taste them as you chew.
    Give yourself 20 minutes to register as full before you attempt eating any more in that one sitting.
    Eat foods that are high in water. They fill you up faster and you can generally eat more of them. Foods like nonstarchy fruit and veggies (less potatoes, corn, and bananas – more citrus, melon, apples and broth-based soups)

    Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.

    It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
