People diets fail!!! In order to maintain a healthy weight you need to make
a lifestyle change. No more fried foods, soda, candy, high sugar juices,
chips, and most importantly fast food!!! Do that and you will notice how
the weight will fall. Losing weight will be the easy part but keeping the
weight off will be the challenge.

500 calories below my TDEE is 1137. I’m going to stick to the 1200 calorie
    diet.

500 below may be too aggressive for you. Just make sure you’re not eating
below your BMR and you should be OK!

How do anorexics still lose weight when their caloric intake is minimal and
exercise regimen is usually strenuous? I understand an anorexic is by all
means “unhealthy” but being on a proper low calorie diet [even a 1200
calorie diet] with moderate exercise is not a gimmick.
