The big problem with these metabolism boosting products is that they raise the metabolism for a while, then when you stop taking them, your metabolism drops lower than before. The best way to raise your metabolism is (believe it or not) is to eat smaller meals about 6 times a day. Reasonable, healthy small meals raise the metabolism. If you don’t eat, your body goes into starvation mode. When this happens, the body stops burning fat for energy. It will burn muscle before it starts burning fat. Protein is a great metabolism booster.

    Natural isnt always harmles! Natural products have side effects too (most poisonous substance known to man is natural!!!).
    Anyway, thats my bit of useless information for the day …the answer to your question.
    Thermogenic products which speed up the metabolism work, but there are a few minuses to them.
    The heat created can cause discomfort, especially at night when sleep may be difficult.
    The effects are proven to last just a few weeks and the biggest problem (in my view) is that once the effects finish, your own metabolism can take a nosedive and your body can slow down quite markedly.
    I know how you feel, at times I must admit to being tempted to use them (lots more weight to lose, have already lost 70lb). But really it isnt worth it in the long run. You are right to get informed before you take any action;
