First, you must understand nutrition/metabolism. After that you need to learn effective workout routines, you also need to learn how important sleep is, and lastly you need to apply it.

Let’s start with nutrition.

1st of all, you need to eat 4-6 meals a day, in 2-3 hour spaces..
the reason why the traditional 3 meals a day is bad is due to your body needing a constant supply of calories, after you eat a meal you don’t want to feel stuffed. you want to be able to have a quick meal satisfy your hunger and get on with you life.

i’m not going to do in depth. because i can write about this forever.

smaller meals, counting calories and eating the correct calories and having food/vitamin and minerals in the amounts necessary.

vitamins and minerals can be supplemented via pills…it’s the easiest way to ensure you’re giving your body the proper nutrition.

calories, for you to weigh 120lbs, you need to eat like someone who is 120 lbs (google search “calorie calculator”) and you should be able to find one that’ll ask you questions based on how active you are etc, and give you the amount of calories you need…(do not quote me on this, but i’m going to ballpark your caloric needs at 1400-1750).

which means per meal you need 350-425 calories per meal.

for a weight loss diet, you need ~30% of your calories to come from protein. 20% from fats (healthy fats) and 50% from carbs. (complex carbs)

again for a list google search “healthy fats and complex carbs” there’re just way too many to list here.

basically as a guideline, any thing that is natural is good, anything that was processed is bad. (ie, fruits = good, chocolate = bad)

by dieting alone you will lose weight.

exercise. the key to loosing weight is pretty simple.

your body burns atp and blood glucose during the first 15-20 mins of your workout so hitting the treadmill is pretty much useless for weight loss at this point. You will preferably want to lift some light weights…do a full body workout, ie. one day do arms/shoulders, the other day back, other day legs, and core.

you don’t need a lot of sets or reps, as long as you keep your rest short (45-60 secs)

then you can hit the treadmill for about 25 mins or until you’re tired and can’t continue.

using this method you can SAFELY lose 1-2 lbs a week.

rest is very key, 8 hours of rest is mandatory. More time in the gym isn’t necessarily better.

drink lots of water and keep working at it and you’ll get there…

good luck

Eat small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, eat your last meal 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. Do not starve yourself or your body will go into survival mode where anything you eat will be turned into FAT. This will help you a lot but if you want more results you can exercise 3-4 days a week, include weight training and especially cardio (walking especially running). If you set your mind to lose the weight you will lose it and when you start seeing how good you look you’ll want to keep going.

I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.

    1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.

    2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.

    3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.

    4. Don’t weigh yourself more than once a week

    5. Take starting measurements as well as weight – sometimes you’ll lose inches before pounds

    6. Avoid any type of “low carb” sweetener for the first two weeks

    7. Don’t compare your loss to someone else’s – this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)

    8. Stalls are common around the third week so don’t panic

    9. If you follow your plan to the T and don’t lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food

    10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison

    11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts – make sure your doctor knows that you’re doing low carb and when you started

    12. Don’t blame the diet if you don’t read your plan book — blame the diet if you don’t read the labels — Don’t blame the diet if you don’t follow the diet

Little Tricks To Help You Lose Weight Fast

Yeah we all know that we are supposed to cut calories, do cardio and hit the gym to get in shape, but there are lots of little tricks you shouldn’t ignore if you want to slim down quick.

Take The Stairs Taking the stairs instead of the elevator every day can help you burn some extra calories. It may not seem like a lot but it adds up. Over a period of a year, taking the stairs can burn off an extra five lbs. of fat.

In my opinion the best way is to do lots and lots of exercise and maybe a supplement that can help, but nothing strong. Something like this: http://www.buyhoodiachaser.com
It’s natural so I don’t think it has any negative side effects, but you should read on your own and make an opinion.
