I weigh 134 pound & am 5’2. I want to lose some weight, so is just running alone good for weight loss for me? And how long should I run for ?
Also, will it tone my butt and legs? Because I don’t want my butt to get smaller I just want it toned…lol.

Yes running is good for weight loss. Run as long as you can and try to run longer the next day.

    yes running is great but u need to have a matching diet and it is not the time you run for lets say you ran 10 miles and lost 1000 calories then you go to McDonald and eat a big mac meal and consume 1200 calories guess what you gotta go run some more because you just gained 200 calories now that is not a exact figure but just an estimate you need to start out lets say walk a mile and build from there and build a good diet a lot of processed natural food will do you good

    Yes, running is great. I personally prefer swimming because it works the whole body but thats just me(; I think 30min-45min would be a good time to run. But make sure to eat healthy also, because all your hardwork will go to waste if you dont eat right.

    i HATE running. it’s so boring and takes forever.

    that’s why i switched to weights. you don’t need to join a gym to get a toned body.

    a pair of dumbbells is all you need. you should do compound routines (workouts that incorporate as many muscles as possible) such as burpees, lunges, squats, pushups, etc. search youtube for routines you can do in your own living room!

    why are weights better than cardio?
    cardio burns calories as you do it.
    weights increase muscle mass which burns calories throughout the entire day, even after you are finished working out.

    Run til your legs start feeling numb. You have to burn a lot of calories. Change the pace if you can for faster weight loss.
