Question by Toboe217: Is orange squash as good as water for boosting metabolism?
I heard that water helps increase your metabolism and helps ‘flush’ out your system, which keeps your more healthy and stuff. Is orange squash just as good? I mean a bit of squash diluted in water?
The squash is really low in sugars, mostly I think it has little sweeteners. But I use very little squash and little water, so is there any benefits at all?

Because of the sugar in the squash it would be counterproductive to add it to water if you are trying to lose weight.

As Escher says the sugar is not great if you are trying to lose weight. Some people will try to tell you that the osmotic level of the squash will affect the water intake but that is only very slightly affected for the concentration of juice you are talking about.

Oh and do not forget that drinking squash all day long means you will have sugar in your mouth for prolonged periods. Dental DISASTER.

Yes you are right about more water to lose weight. Does clear out toxins and actually encourages the body to lose more water than you take in as it comes out of drought mode.

Try a Nikken water filter. It doesn’t sit on the stomach and it absorbs very quickly. It also tastes completely different from most water. The difference is in the pH balance and the mineral content that is added to the water.
