Weight loss is really not about drinking tea. It’s about burning less calories then you consume.

Generally, Green Tea has no calories unless you add milk/sugar, so it shouldn’t make you gain weight, but it will not provide any extra weight loss benefit then drinking water.

If you want to lose weight, your best bet is to get regular exercise and eat 5-6 healthy meals per day. Each meal should be a relatively small portion. This will ensure that you get the nutrients you need, and at the same time keep your metabolism burning fat in the most efficient manner.
