I just found out that I am allergic to all dairy products and need to lose weight.
I am looking for dairy free protein shake recipes.
Also, where do I purchase the protein powder mix?

    Well, if you are allergic to milk and have been doing protein shakes for awhile you may lose weight without any help. Food allergies tend to make the body swell up a bit from retained water. May I suggest that you drink some fruit smoothies with added protein powder from soy and lots of water. It will probably take a few weeks, but I’d bet you start losing some of the water weight by then. Protein powder mix can be purchased at health food stores, some pharmacies or markets like Whole Foods.

    If you are trying to lose weight, don’t add calories with shakes. Just eat more natural protein like lean meats, beans, and nuts as well as lots of different fresh fruits and veggies.
