1200 calories is a good place to start, you wll certainly lose weight but it is not a permenant solution so when you start to get results, you are going to want to increase the calories gradually 🙂

    1200 calories is pretty low but a very simple diet plan
    breakfast protein shake (meal replacement) 200 calories
    lunch subway 6″ turkey 270 calories
    dinner chicken breast with 1 cup rice and 1 cup vegies about 350 calories
    that’s about 870 calories for your 3 meals
    add in 12 nuts for a mid morning snack about 100 calories
    maybe a fiber1 bar for afternoon snack the 100 calorie kind
    that puts you at 1070 add in another snack of choice around 100 calories either in evening or add to another meal if extra hungry. and you have about 1200 calories for a day with decent food.
    substitute as needed rice/pasta chicken/fish/turkey etc
    I lived on a diet similar to this for about a month when i started my weight lose though now because of how much I work out i am doing good at 2000 calories a day or more as long as it’s healthy.
    just remember whole grains, avoid processed food (like sugars) and you can add in a bunch of vegies to this as well as they are really low in calories. some like celery even burn more calories to eat then they actually give you so you can eat tons of it without messing up your calorie count for the day.
