Continue eating a good amount of fruit and vegetables but remember to include wholegrains into your diet like basmati brown rice, oats, spelt, millet and buckwheat. If you are eating a wide variety of fruit and vegetables you do not need vitamin supplements. Scientific research has proven that they increase mortality rate. Artificial vitamins are not nearly as good for you as the real things. They are not liked b the body as much nor can they be absorbed effectively. If you take multi-vitamins chances are that you are not getting much from them because vitamin A inhibits vitamin C absorpsion and vitamin C inhibits vitamin D absorpsion. Each vitamin adversly prevents the absorpsion of the other whereas in fruits and vegetables the natural complex of vitamins and minerals is balanced in a way that is better than in artificial supplements so absorpsion happens more effectively.
