Question by .: Is low fat yogurt as good as fat free, especially for a weight loss diet?
I like to eat the low fat light yogurts from yoplait. I hate fat-free because they have aspartame in them. They don’t have a lot of fat, so are they still good for you if you eat it just like 1-2 times a day?

(I heard that yogurt helps aid in weight loss)

I eat the fat free kind from yoplait and the weight watchers and i think its low fat. If its weight watchers you should be fine. The main thing you should be watching is the sugar and calories.

    Low fat means it has some fat but not too much
    fat-free means has no fat at all

    and yes some yogurts like activia help lose weight

    the best yogurt to eat is plain greek yogurt. any other yogurt is loaded with sugar. the fat free are the unhealthiest, because they contain fillers like modified food starch. this isn’t conducive to weight loss and is the least healthy option. greek yogurt has up to double the amount of protein which will help keep you full and speed up fat metabolism.
