How To Lose 10 To 30 Pounds A Month

Question by b2b: how do i break a weight plateau?
I have been on Quick Weight Loss plan for 4 months. I dropped 35 lbs in 2 months and then nothing. I have been wavering in between 10 lbs for 8 weeks now and have not gone down a pound. I am eating eggs, one other protein(chicken, salmon, mahi mahi, tuna, turkey…) TONS OF VEGGIES, LOTS OF WATER, NO SALT, 3 fruits a day, and a protein bar. I am not starving myself, infact i eat ALL DAY LONG. I work out atleast 4 days a week. No weight training just cardio. I swim, run, or bike atleast an hour a day. I have 50 more lbs i need to loose before i get married but i can’t seem to get over this hump in the road!! Any tips?

Try going a notch harder. This would break the plateau.

Work harder. Don’t take second helpings for food. take half as much food as you do now.

Intensify your cardio work-outs. Basically this is simple: the more intense your work-out is the more fat you will burn. For example, a full blast 30 second sprint burns more fat then a 3-5 minute jog/walk does. In other words, jogging pretty much does nothing compared to sprinting.

Try watching your calorie intake. It’s good to eat 4-6 times a day depending on what your eating of course. You could try herbalife! That is what I do and you drop pounds and inches like crazy.

To lose weight you have to burn more calories than you consume. So try cutting some calories (200-300) and then increase working out a little. Most experts say that if you are trying to lose weight there needs to be a difference of about 500 calories between what you burn and consume.

Also if you are working out and consuming protein then you might be building muscle which weighs more than fat. So the scale might say you haven’t lost any more weight but your waist size might still be going down. The best way to gage weight loss is with measuring tape or just by seeing how your clothes fit now.

YES…I HAD the SAME problem as you are having…So, here’s what I did to kick my weight control up a notch! Follow these suggestions:
1.) Drink ice cold water fast! Ice cold water makes your body burn fat to heat the ice cold water back up to body temp.
2.) Eat peppered beef jerky! The spices in the beef jerky, can actually speed up your metabolic rate…And also, there’s A LOT of protein in beef jerky, which really helps suppress your appetite!!
3.) Kill your cravings! Foods that kill cravings: veggies (raw, preferably), fruits, water, and like I just mentioned…Incorporate lots of protein-enriched foods, like fish, lean meats: chicken (no skin), turkey, and protein bars…Try a brand called, “Pure Protein”…there’s 20grams of protein in 1 bar!
4.) Drink green tea! This tea helps to increase your metabolism to burn more fat!! You can drink it cold/bottled, or hot.
5.) Limit carbs! This is an EMERGENCY weight loss trick. If you stop eating carbs. (or limit them) you’ll lose an extra 5lbs. or more really quick by burning up all the stored carbs in your body…This is a trick not many people know about, but I’ve learned from my personal trainer! However, don’t stop eating them for the long-term basis, as complex carbs. help to fuel your body, and provide energy! Just limit them.
6.) Exercise in the morning! Do about 30-60 minutes of aerobic activity…If you have the time…do an hour. The reason for working out first thing in the morning–is that your stomach is pretty empty from the night before, so your body is actually forced to feed off the stored fat in your body for energy!
7.) Get in the habit of walking for 10 minutes after you eat! Your body burns the calories to digest the foods you eat, and if you walk for 10 minutes after you eat, you will increase the amount of calories you burn during digestion! Plus, if you eat 3 times a day…and you walk 10minutes after you eat each time…There’s 30minutes of exercise right there!
Also, feel free to email me, if you have any questions, or concerns!

start weight training, or strength training like with sit ups and push ups, leg lifts n thing, if u dont have weights. and do more cardio, if ur doing an hour for 4 days a week, kick it up to 5 days a week, and instead of doing an hour do an hour and a half, andwith that hour an hald kick up the intensity…..instead of jogging, run faster, you dont have to be sprinting, just run a little faster, that luittle bit helps cuz ur body isnt used to it. and do interval training for those extra 30 minutes u do in your workout. like jog a littler faster than u usually do. just like i told you, and do that for 3 minutes, and then sprint for 30 seconds, and then go back to jogging for 1-3 minutes, and then sprint for 30 seconds, and keep doing that for the whole 30 minutes this burns more fat than just staying at one pace the whole 30 minutes alone. and you dont have to excercise for 2 or 3 hours…but try being more active throughout the day…like instead of coming home and resting on the couch after a hard day, go and play some basketball with ur fiance or someone you know, not for excercise, but for fun. or go in the pool AGAIN, just for fun. u dont have to be swimming laps, but itsbetter than sitting on the couch….or maybe go ride your bike again, you dont have to time how long…just do it until u dont want to anymore, and bike, like maybe race your friends or something. or go to the mall and walk around. have some fun.

also what the other girl said was true about excercising in the morning on an empty stomach. i did it this morning….and the thing about excercising on an empty stomach is that, when u do it and then go eat breakfast, you will probably burn off evetrything u ate from ur metabolism because after cardio..when ur body stops, its still burning calories faster than if u werent doing cardio. so yeah….hope that helps!

I just lost 26 pounds myself and after about 15 pounds lost I found myself not losing a pound no matter what I did. So one day I was talking to my brother and he gave me some helpful advise that I will now pass onto u. Lay flat on your back with arms above your head have someone stand above you hold on to the ankles and bring your legs straight up and let that person push your legs back down!!!! but never let them hit the ground (KEEP THEM AT LEAST 3 TO 6 Inches above the ground!!!!!! And keep on doing as many as u can..They are called Vamp-UPs no kidding!!! I started about 1 month ago and only could do 10 to 15 at a time u will feel automatic results as soon as u get up. I have since lost 11 more pounds
it has been a slow process but it really works…. Let me know if you have any more questions regarding this matter. Or if u need more help on how to do it.
