    Flaxseed oil is a great Omega 3 source, but consuming the actual flax seed is much better for you because it has that additional fiber and cancer fighting lignans that the flaxseed oil leaves out. And since you can’t just eat the seeds they need to be grinded up which can be hard and annoying to work into your diet.
