It’s not FDA approved and from my experience no. It’s only a placebo, just watch your diet and exercise. Good luck

The hcg diet is a scam. Think about it. Suppose you wanted to make money selling a diet plan. If it is just a plan on paper, not a book or DVDs or a real product, people will pirate it in a heartbeat. All the have to do is email it everywhere. But, if you have some magic drops, well, then you have something to sell…a product. HCG does nothing for fat loss. It was a scam from the get go and doesn’t work any more than the other junk on the market like acai or green tea. Check the following excerpts from the US National Institute of Health…the place where the doctors get their information regarding health research.

“In recent publications describing mostly well-documented double-blind studies authors largely reject hCG administration in dieting. Supporters of the hCG diet must prove the efficacy of this method in controlled studies according to the German Drug Law. Until then the opinion of the German steroid toxicology panel is still valid, that hCG is ineffective in dieting and should not be used.”

“Side effects were seen in 2 volunteers from the hCG group, 1 of whom suffered from severe headache and the other who suffered from ovarian cysts which were punctured by laparoscopy. The success of the diet was based on motivation and good information, rather than on the hCG administration. (author’s modified)”

“We conclude that there is no rationale for the use of HCG injections in the treatment of obesity.”

“Subjects receiving HCG injections showed no advantages over those on placebo in respect of any of the variables recorded. Furthermore, weight loss on our diet was similar to that on severely restricted intake. We conclude that there is no rationale for the use of HCG injections in the treatment of obesity.”

“You won’t see me promoting quick fixes or fad diets anytime soon. But every once in awhile something comes along that seems so dangerous I have to call it out. That’s why I’m going to help reveal the truth behind the HCG diet.”

I had a friend that was doing it and SWORE by it, but she was barely eating ANYTHING!! Literally, this diet had her eating fruits, veggies, and like 4 oz of grilled meat daily. Plus water only. She lost a lot of weight, but you have to question if it was because she was only eating like 700 calories daily or if it was actually from the HcG.

The HCG diet is a SCAM. It’s a 30X homeopathic product. That 30X means there is one part of HCG in 1 x 10^30 parts of water. Yes, that’s a 1 with 30 zeros after it. Some products are as dilute as 60X, a 1 with 60 zeros after it.

You lose weight because of an anorexic diet, you’re limited to 500 calories a day. THAT’S how you lose the weight, not by taking drops of water mixed into a glass of water or drops under your tongue.

Just so you know 10^30 drops of water equate to over 16 TRILLION cubic miles of water. In all those cubic miles of water, there is just 1 drop of HCG.
